Lawyer and founder of the law firm Peter Mauel has been working as a lawyer in Leverkusen since 1982. From the beginning, his focus of business activity was on public and private building law, as well as commercial and corporate law.
Over the years, the law firm developed into its present form with a current number of eight lawyers and a total of 25 employees.
In the course of increasing specialisation, specialist departments were created for the areas of public and private building law, commercial and corporate law, employment law, family law, criminal law, damages and compensation law, succession law, credit law, transportation law, insurance law, as well as restructuring and insolvency law.
With these practice areas, the law firm took up nationwide activity.
A further office was opened in Eberswalde and thereby near Berlin in 1991. From here, particularly larger planning projects from the field of public building law are accompanied legally, yet also numerous medium-sized organisations, trade enterprises and general clientele.
The office in Leverkusen-Opladen is situated in own modern spaciously designed facilities, as is the office in Eberswalde in the highly modern Friedrich-Ebert-Centre, which opened in 1996.
In 2002, a cooperation partner, whose representative facilities in Berlin are also available to the office and used actively, was discovered in the law firm of lawyers Dr. Breloer pp. in Berlin, who are focused on building law exclusively.
Our clients include private clientele on the one hand, yet on the other hand a multitude of organisations throughout Federal Germany and meanwhile also in the USA.
Since the year 2005 the law firm provides its own enquiry unit, which is responsible to collect in complex cases the necessary juridical material. This includes the discovery of publications, judicial decisions, the examination of literature and the processing of the found material by the administrator. A continous increasing amount of judical decisions, acts and regulations and a continually increasing importance of EU -regulations requires this department lead by the lawyer Mr. Goretzki.
Our paramount goal is the comprehensive consultation and legal representation of clients with high specialisation in different fields of law.
